Frankel Berkowitz Chapel Congregation Rodeph Shalom

Renovation and partial restoration of a small chapel in the historically significant Rodeph Shalom synagogue on North Broad Street in Philadelphia.  Traditionally used for smaller services and private gatherings, the chapel had water damage from a roof leak and was under-used as a result of its poor appearance.  Original details including historic wall sconces, a bima and speaker’s table, and stenciled ceiling beams were restored and used in the reconfigured worship space.
